About Speedy Fit

Speedy Fit has been installing solar and electrical systems since 2010. Based in Worthing (BN13), we deliver MCS‑standard solar PV and battery storage installations across Sussex with clear documentation, compliant workmanship and long‑term reliability.

If you’re comparing quotes, we’re happy to explain the practical differences: system design choices, protection and isolation, cable routes, monitoring setup, and what you’ll receive at handover. Our goal is a system that performs well, is safe to service, and looks tidy in your home.

Our approach

Straightforward advice, compliant installation, proper handover.

Clear system design

Every installation starts with realistic yield expectations, sensible inverter sizing, and practical battery configuration — not over‑promising on savings. We’ll talk through layout, shading and export options so you know what to expect.

Compliant installation

All work is carried out to current regulations and MCS standards, with correct protection, labelling and documentation provided at handover. We install with a “serviceable” mindset: isolators accessible, circuits identifiable, and cable routing tidy.

Professional finish

We take pride in neat cable routes, tidy inverter positioning, and leaving your property clean and safe once installation is complete. It should look like it belongs — not like an afterthought.

Credentials, standards & warranties

Trust matters — especially when equipment is expected to run for 20+ years.

Electrical standards

Solar and batteries are electrical systems first. We follow current UK electrical requirements for protection, isolation, earthing/bonding and labelling, and we commission and test properly before handover.

MCS‑standard installs

We deliver MCS‑standard solar PV work with the correct documentation at handover. If you want to register for export payments (SEG), proper paperwork and commissioning evidence makes the process smoother.

Workmanship warranty

We provide a 2‑year workmanship warranty. We also offer an insurance‑backed workmanship guarantee option through the Independent Warranty Association (IWA) where applicable.

How we work

Good outcomes come from good process: survey, design, install, test, then a proper walkthrough so you know how to get the most from your system.

1) Survey & design

We review roof structure, shading, access and the existing electrical setup. Then we propose a design that matches your usage pattern and future plans — for example, “battery‑ready” design if you might add storage later.

2) Installation

We install with neat cable routes and sensible equipment placement, keeping isolation points accessible and documentation accurate. Your property is treated with care — dust control and tidy working are part of the job.

3) Testing & handover

We commission and test the system, set up monitoring/app access, and explain performance expectations. You’ll receive clear handover paperwork so you can refer back to it later.

Most domestic solar PV systems in Worthing and West Sussex range from £6,500 to £12,000 depending on system size, roof type and whether you add battery storage.

We provide transparent, itemised quotations following a proper technical survey — not generic “one size fits all” packages.

Typical price guide

  • 5–6 kWp system: £8,500 – £12,000
